The most popular products that the company provides are typically their communication products. Of these, the video visitation services have proven to be very popular with employees, administrators, inmates, and families. While the company is best known for providing these products, they also have gained a great reputation for providing a monitoring service for correctional facilities.

While the monitoring services have not been in place very long at many of the law enforcement facilities, they have already proven to be very effective. The company recently released a newsletter that has outlined many of the congratulatory and thankful messages from correctional facilities and law enforcement officers across the country.

The primary communication monitoring service that they can offer to a facility is a video messaging and phone conversation monitoring service. When a new phone call or video message between an inmate and another person is made, each party is required to acknowledge that the messages are being recorded and can be used as evidence. While this provision does not include conversations involving a lawyer, Securus is able to monitor many of the calls that are received. Through the monitoring of these phone calls, Securus is able to at time gather insight and evidence of past, current, or future crimes inside and outside of the facility. This information can then be passed on, which could result in the prevention of crimes or the issuance of a warrant.

Securus Video Visitation is Perfect for Families

When people to do things that result in prison time they may have never considered all the people that their actions would affect. It has been said that hindsight is 20/20, and I do believe that most criminals would do things differently if they knew that prison would be the end result. When they realize the mistakes that they made there may be a desire to connect with family and communicate. This is the great thing about Securus. This has become the technology company that has made it possible for people on the inside to stay in touch with everyone on the outside.

Securus Video Visitation is the concept that has made this possible. I have seen the product in use through videos on the web, and I just thought that this was a great thing. Kids that may have never met their fathers or mothers will get the chance to communicate through video. This may motivate people that are on the inside to get out sooner. They become encouraged after communicating with their children through the Securus app.

I would say that this is the light at the end of the tunnel for most prisoners. Adapting to prison life is tough. It can be a grueling experience to only have contact with people through a collect call. This may be fine sometimes, but it feels so much better for inmates to see faces.

People that have the app or the software downloaded on the desktop can schedule a meeting. When the meeting is scheduled you can wait with your children and let them anticipate the upcoming meeting day and time. They will be so excited to get the chance to do this because children are very fond of video technology. My kids love Face Time and Skype through my phone. They think that this is the coolest thing ever so the video visitation is no different.

Since they really have nothing to do in prison it is a joy to have something to look forward to. There are people that are going to appreciate this app because it brings families back together through video visits.
